The IDM Forums netlabel is proud to present our newest release: IDMf 059: Beat Battle Royale. The beat battles are a community-driven event on the forums that have survived the demise of soundcloud groups, several changes of forum management, and the fall and subsequent ressurrection of IDM Forums itself! They stand out as the best continually recurring community-organized event on the forum, and for beat battle number 100 we asked current participants to take it to another level and showcase what beat battles are all about. Everyone was handed a selection of the best samples from beat battles past thanks to forum user IO_Madness and let loose with only the rule that your song had to be about a spaceship. Here, we have every entry primed to take you out of this world in the way that 12 of our fine artists imagined, this album shows everything a beat battle can be. Enjoy!
